Vlad moved with his family from Ukraine to the United States when he was just six months old. He has lived his entire life in the South King County area. Raised in a Christian home, he grew up knowing that God is real and the Bible is true, yet he lived in sin until the Lord graciously brought him to saving faith at age 15.

Since then, Vlad has cultivated a deep love for theology and the rich truths of hymns and worship. 

Over the years, the Lord has given him opportunities to serve in both areas—through occasional preaching, leading youth small groups, nursing home ministry, to men's singing groups, and church choirs. 

During that season, he also earned a degree in Engineering Drafting and worked for many years as an AutoCAD drafter.

After a decade of service as a single man, God blessed Vlad with his lovely wife, Sofia. Soon afterward, they welcomed their first child, and in that same year, they became covenant members of Veritas Bible Church. 

Vlad now serves there as Director of Music, where you'll see him leading singing on the Lord's day and teaching Veritas members new hymns for congregatinal singing.
