Pastor Lewis was born and raised in south Seattle where he attended grade school and middle school in the Highline School District. 

He became a follower of Jesus as a freshman at Seattle Christian High School in 1982. 

After graduation in 1986, he began his career at Boeing, where he is currently a crane operator and foreman. 

Pastor Lewis has his undergraduate degree in Ministry and Leadership from Multnomah University and is currently pursuing an M.A. in Education. 

He and his wife Geneva have six children, ages 40-32 and much of their time is spent with them and with their grandchildren, all of whom live nearby. 

As long time residents of Federal Way, Pastor Lewis and Geneva were on the initial launch team of Veritas Bible Church. Geneva can be seen weekly behind the piano. 

God willing, they look forward to serving His people at VBC for many years to come.
