Pastor Dmitriy emigrated with his extended family from Moldova (formerly USSR) in 1994. He grew up in the South King County area with his parents and seven siblings (one brother and six sisters). God saved Dmitriy in 2007-2008. Shortly afterward, he met his wife Mary. They married in 2012 and now have six children (four boys and two girls) whom they are raising and homeschooling in the belly of the beast known as the State of Washington. Dmitriy studied music education in college but entered the corporate tech workspace after getting married. 

In 2017, after working in business development and technology sales for about five years, God called Dmitriy into the ministry. 

He is the primary preaching elder of VBC and also leads evangelistic efforts at Highline College to fight for the lives of the unborn and to impact the next generation with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Please reach out if you have any questions!
